COVID19 TIP 1 TO STAY HEALTHY
As I sit on a daily basis watching what is going on in our country, my concerns grow as to how we recover from all of this. Where do we start once all is said and done? In the meantime, I sit without supplies I need to fight my health battle, yet I still want to help others when I can.
I am not a doctor, so please do your own diligence when it comes to you and your family. However, I will share tips on what I do to keep illness at bay. I remember when I first became ill years ago and I was faced with a major surgery. I was afraid, nervous, and ready for it all at the same time. After the surgery, I found that I was running out of breath just doing little things. If you have had any surgery, you know that doctors want you to walk as soon as you can to prevent pneumonia.
Now, there is all types of information being circulation about COVID 19. I am sure we all can agree on that. What we do know is it can cause pneumonia. What does pneumonia attack? The lungs! So, this is where I will start. Once I wake up in the morning, I first give thanks for waking up. Now, this is where the very first step begins. This may sound stupid to some, and common sense to others but the healthier your lungs the stronger they will fight for you. So, when you wake up the very first thing you should do is take in a deep breath, hold it for about 10 seconds, then release it slowly through your mouth. Doing this will help keep your lungs strong. Don’t stop there, do this as many times as you can safely during your day. The more the better!
